Main Objective of the Position:

• Creation, release, distribution, and training of a Library or catalog of defects and physical acceptance limits for the mattress area of stretchers and hospital beds.
• Review, update, distribution, and training on Job Instructions, Quality Checklists, PFMEAs, Control Plans, Visual Aids, and Forms with the aim of identifying gaps, areas for improvement, and corrections for the mattress area of stretchers and hospital beds.
• Implementation of traceability and identification of raw materials throughout the supply chain. A larger project that affects the entire plant from Suppliers, Receiving, Incoming, Warehouse, Kitting, to Production.

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering or other related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years in a Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and/or Engineering role, with a minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing and/or Quality
• Experience in the medical device industry or automotive industry in development and deployment on Quality System and process controls and continuous improvement methods
• Primary/Secondary party compliance auditing experience.
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (fluent in Spanish and English languages).
• Computer knowledge in programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Agile and JD Edwards (desirable)
• Practical experience in metrology, test, inspection and analysis techniques
