- Support functionality of the SAP Logistics modules like Material Management (MM) and integration points to other modules like PP, FI, CO, PM and SD.
- Support integrations from external non-SAP systems in the logistics space like Coupa.
- Support Messer custom SAP solutions in the MM space.
- Understand standard SAP functionality and drive solutions to use out of the box SAP functionality with a goal to avoid and reduce complexity of business processes.
- Work with the business to identify, analyse and propose possible system improvements.
- Interface with other application & technical teams to design, document, test and drive implementation of standard and custom SAP functionality.
- Work on enhancements and projects to implement new solutions with touchpoints to SAP primarily in the logistics area.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate functional area (expert / equivalent professional experience in Business and IT roles can be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree).
Required Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in support of SAP ECC 6.0 required.
- Extensive knowledge of business processes and application functionality to enable the resolution of complex problems.
- Experience in conducting structured testing is essential.
- Experience in creating functional change specification and design documents for RICEF items is essential.
- Experience with ABAP debugging is a plus. Exposure to S4 Hana functionality is a plus.
- Advance english level required
- Strong Understanding of SAP “end to end” process with expert knowledge in the SAP Materials management.
- Strong Knowledge of SAP jobs specifically in the MM area.
- Knowledge of SAP configurations and transport creation and release process.
- Understanding of architecture of the Core SAP system landscape and other external systems connected to SAP like Salesforce/Coupa/Master data management/Various other systems.
- Demonstrate capability to analyse business processes / understand business challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with technical and functional teams.
- Team oriented self-starter with excellent organization skills.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills are required to communicate and work with business and other IS functions.
- Must be a quick learner – understanding new processes and new programs.
- Expert knowledge of SAP MM functionality and integrations from SAP to other systems via CPI/IDOC/EDI interfaces.
- Knowledge of SAP tools like LSMW will be an added advantage.
Principal responsibilities
- Be the primary resources to support SAP MM functionality and all integrations related to MM.
- Monitor incidents created by the users in service now. Appropriately analyse reported incidents and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Work with key business SME’s to understand requirements that may be part of enhancement requests, project tasks or day to day support. Be the liaison between the business SMEs and the technical teams.
- Responsible for ensuring Standard SAP functionality is used as far as possible when proposing system solutions for enhancements or issue resolution.
- Responsible for collaboration and engagement with peers across functional and technical teams from Business Services, Enterprise Applications and other IS teams when called for.
- Perform detailed analysis or business processes and provide appropriate system solutions. Should review, validate, understand and document user requirements as necessary.
- Functional spec creation for any custom enhancements or project related developments.
- Unit Test/UAT/Integration testing for configuration or development work.
- Be proactive in identifying potential problems and proposing solutions to system issues.
- Work with consultants and other team members to resolve issues in other SAP modules and integrated systems.
